Privacy Policy
VitalDirectory is a free, public directory of health providers. This page explains the little data we handle and the choices you have.
What we collect
We don't ask you to create an account to browse. When someone submits a practice, we store the details they provide (name, specialty, description, contact details and location) so the listing can be reviewed and published. We keep no browsing profiles of our own.
Cookies and advertising
To keep the directory free, we show ads through Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited). Depending on your choice, Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device to:
- Measure whether ads were shown and clicked (measurement).
- Tailor the ads you see to your interests (ad personalisation) — only with your consent.
If you decline, Google may still show general (non-personalised) ads and measure impressions and clicks, but won't use your data for ad personalisation on this site.
Your choices
In regions that require it, we ask before showing personalised ads: you can Accept all or Decline with one click in the notice. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page — declining again takes effect immediately. Your choice is stored in your browser (with the date and the version of this notice) and is never shared with us beyond what's needed to honour it.
You can also control ad personalisation across Google services in Google's Ad Settings, and learn how Google uses data in ads at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
